More than a half-century of service
In 1946, George R. Tasse founded Tasse Fuel in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Originally a plumbing and heating company, Tasse’s grew to meet the community’s expanding needs.
In 1959, Tasse’s began selling fuel oil. George’s son, George P. Tasse, took over the reins in 1966 and added an air conditioning operation in 1971. Upon George P.’s retirement in 1993, his son Jeff became president and works closely with his sister, Leigh who has been with the company since 1988.
Today, Tasse Fuel offers complete heating, cooling, plumbing and water treatment services to homes and businesses in south-central Massachusetts and north-central Connecticut. Our staff totals 17 local people, including 9 technicians.
